Fostering the growth and independence of young people in communities of color

We value youth and their place in a challenging, diverse society. We commit ourselves to building a better community for youth where they can be cultivated into new leaders committed to change

NYN (Nevada Youth Network) was founded in 2013. The founding board members saw fit to create an organization whose sole purpose is to foster the growth and independence of young people within communities of color.

To empower youth within their own communities.

Nevada Youth Network Inc. seeks to develop youth who give back to their communities through academic achievement and fellowship.

Our Community-Based Model is based on the following three principals:

  • Provide educational and recreational support to low-income youth
  • Empower youth and young adults to make informed choices related to their physical, mental and socio-emotional well-being.
  • Increase service and resource capacity of community organizations who directly serve youth.
